¿Se Habla Español?

So I received a piece of paper in the mail notifying me that I have indeed fulfilled all of the requirements for the Spanish minor I applied for. Good thing. At three years removed from my last Spanish class, I'm not about to sign up for a 400-level course on advanced composition.

HA! Funny how quickly languages can die...

I'm really curious to understand how you decide what is blog worthy and what isn't. This post is very dissimilar from most of your posts.

First, you're right. This is quite different from most of my blog posts. I figure a brief change-of-pace is appropriate occasionally. If I had some sort of nanoblog on the sidebar, I suppose this would go there.

Blog worthy? Hmm, why exactly did I post this? [I'm trying not to read into your inquiry. Is this that lousy of a post?] I try not to make totally random, tweet-like posts. Usually I've been thinking about something for a while, and then spend time writing about it. Then occasionally I post stuff that (a) I find somewhat humorous (b) might be of some interest to others.

This fit (a) for some reason -- maybe because I wasn't expecting any confirmation in the mail (what's this? oh), Spanish classes were so long ago, and even my graduation application was finished 3-4 months ago. Then (b) might fit because so many other bloggers/friends are students, and might find it relevant (plus it maybe qualifies as some sort of personal update).

Oh, then there's (c) likely to get comments. Obviously, it worked!
