Wow, is that 7 separate classes? Yikes!

Yup. 7 classes, but only 16 credit hours. There's no way I would have taken this many classes, but 5(!) of the classes are 2 credits each, meaning I had to take 7 to get 15+ credits. (Akron has block tuition from 12-15 credit hours.)

Geez. Seems like it's nicer to take a smaller # of classes for a given amount of credit hours - less assignments and different materials to keep track of.
Ah well. The beauty of college is, it'll be over in a couple months, and you'll move on.

Hope you're learning well!

Yeah, I'd definitely rather have a 4 credit class than two 2 credit classes, for the same reasons you stated. Still, the proliferation of 2 credit classes is bizarre. Do they have many at Pitt?

Overall, I am enjoying the semester. It's good to finally get into my core classes.
